This rare release unites Oregon single malt and the bold, earthy character of agave spirits. Four years ago, we secured ultra-rare mezcal casks—an uncommon find, since mezcal is rarely aged. Two years later, a collaboration with Acre Largo, a Portland-founded tequila brand sourcing from 5,000 feet in the mountains of Jalisco, brought new inspiration.
After aging their first-ever Reposado in our used Westward barrels, those casks returned home to Oregon for finishing. The result is a seven-year-old single malt, matured nearly two years in tequila and mezcal casks, layered with citrus brightness, floral smoke, and honeyed complexity.
As longtime fans of tequila and mezcal, we often notice subtle agave-like notes in our new make—fruit, honey, and gentle phenolics from our distillation. This project brought those flavors forward through true collaboration, careful timing, and shared craft.
