Truly and uniquely homegrown, every sip of Casa Magdalena rum is made from sugar cane that is seeded, planted, harvested, milled, and distilled by the Leal family, the first new Guatemalan rum distillers in more than a generation. Distilled in La Democracia, Escuintla from a slow, low temperature ferment of first-press molasses (“Miel A”). Matured in Clackamas, Oregon for more than 5 years in second-fill American whiskey barrels, then lightly filtered, blended and bottled with absolutely no additives or artificial colors.
