This unique Single Malt Stout Cask Whiskey is the result of a collaboration between Westward Whiskey and the Portland Fire Fighters Pipes and Drums band. It symbolizes the value both organizations place on integrity, teamwork and community. Whether the product is a bottle of single malt or a set of traditional Scottish bagpipe tunes, nothing less than a team's best effort will suffice.
Comprised entirely of active and retired local firefighters who volunteer their time, Portland Fire Fighters Pipes and Drums' primary mission is to use music to honor fallen brothers and sisters in the emergency services, and to support their survivors in times of loss and sorrow. The band performs at funerals, memorials, and other civic and community functions such as parades and awards ceremonies. Like the Westward family, the band is deeply committed to excellence and authenticity in what they share with the community.
A portion of the proceeds from each bottle sold will directly support travel, instruction and equipment costs to assist PFFPD's mission of service to firefighters and other first responders that have paid the ultimate price.
